Stefan is a well-rounded and long-established expert in commercial banking with multi-disciplinary experience across the complete transaction lifecycle from equity and debt arrangement and syndication to portfolio management and exit. Stefan has over 18 years’ of experience in the PFI/PPP and infrastructure sectors and has arranged a number of firsts in the sector. Stefan has been involved with a large number of road projects across the risk spectrum with regard to revenue risk: real tolls, shadow tolls, availability payments.
Stefan has structured numerous loan facilities in the infrastructure sector, analyzing all aspects of project stakeholders both from corporate and public-sector perspective. Stefan was also responsible for a $1bn-plus portfolio of challenged and “work out” special assets. This has afforded Stefan much experience in dealing with and structuring complex intercreditor arrangements.
